Lisa Caron Hickey, owner and designer of Caron Designs, is a native of Brookfield Connecticut. She graduated from Notre Dame, with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Art, and furthered her education in Marketing.  On a professional level, she has worked for advertising agencies and large to midsize manufacturing companies as a marketing communications manager. She also has experience as an instructor for the Manchester Institute of Arts, Danbury and New Milford Continuing Education as well has provided training in her studio and galleries in the Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire areas. Her interests have always been fine arts and crafts, which has led her to her passion of fusing glass and wire wrapping.  She is also proficient in clay works and fine painting.
